Delivering Our Services Safely in the Era of Covid-19

Please note both of our shops in Bexhill & Eastbourne are temporarily closed to the public due to National Lockdown #3.

However, we are open for business through our web shop.

You may shop online with Wards at , and browse our collections on Facebook. Currently, all of the schoolwear collection and several of our apparel brands for both men & ladies are on-line. 

There are several ways in which your on-line purchases can be delivered, including by hand delivery for addresses within 3 miles, click & collect at the front of either shop, or postal delivery.

We have been closely following & implementing the Government’s guidance on managing the risk of Covid-19. We have carried out a risk assessment on both the retail shops & the cafe, for staff & customers to read on request.

Below is a list of procedures put in place for the safety of our customers & staff.
We have cleaning, hygiene and social distancing procedures in place. All customers are asked to wear a face covering, except for those with a medical exemption, and to use the hand sanitizer at entry to the store. All of our staff wear face masks or shields for your protection.
We will limit the number of customers in our Bexhill and Eastbourne shops at any one time. Please bear with us if you are asked by one of our colleagues to wait before entering. In most cases, your wait will be short! 
There will be a couple of chairs at the very front of the each shop for customers to sit in as needed, and if a queue is formed outside, it should be on the left side of the store front. Chairs are cleaned with alcohol wipes after each use.

Our returns policy is normally 28 days after purchase. As we are currently closed, we will honour returns made within 28 days after we re-open. Customers who wish to try on clothing in our shops may do so. The changing rooms are cleaned by our staff using alcohol based wipes after each use. Any items tried on or returned are placed in quarantine for 72 hours and then steamed before being returned to the stock floor.

In the cafe, the number of tables has been reduced to ensure appropriate social distancing of at least one metre. All of the food & drink is delivered to your table by a waitress, ensuring minimal contact between guests.
